We are not merely a place of hospitality; we are guardians of an agricultural tradition handed down through generations. Masseria Lama San Giorgio is the beating heart of the Azienda Agricola Scianatico, a living and productive reality embracing 15 hectares of Puglian landscape.

The History: Stone by Stone

Our history is written in the tuff rock. Born in the 19th century as a rural outpost, the Masseria has traversed decades while keeping its soul intact. The major restoration in the late 90s was not a simple renovation, but an act of respect: we preserved the original volumes, the old mangers transformed into design elements, and the vaults that have witnessed history pass by. In 2015, with the creation of the Corte degli Ulivi (Olive Court), we added a new chapter: contemporary architecture that dialogues with the ancient, using the same traditional materials to ensure the future shares the same roots as the past.

The Estate: 15 Hectares of Life

Everything you taste in our restaurant or breathe in during your walks is born here, under the Puglian sun. Our estate is an ecosystem of certified biodiversity:

The Green Gold (EVO Oil): Our olive groves are not just scenery. We produce a superior category Extra Virgin Olive Oil, bringing the intense scent of our land to the table.

The Vineyards: We passionately cultivate table grapes, an excellence of the Rutigliano territory, famous for their sweetness and crispness.

The Land: Wheat, lentils, and vegetables follow the natural cycle of the seasons, arriving directly in the kitchen of our restaurant, “Alle Bilance.” “Farm to table” is not a slogan here; it is our daily life.

The Guest Experience: Guests of the Masseria are free to explore the estate. Lose yourself among the rows of vines, observe the ripening of the fruit, and, if the season allows, witness the rituals of the harvest.
