Rooms at Masseria Lama San Giorgio are booked through the online booking system on the official website, where you can see live availability and prices. For bookings of more than 5 rooms, please email info@lamasangiorgio.it.

Masseria Lama San Giorgio has 28 rooms and suites in two areas. The Masseria Antica, the 19th-century main building with the reception and restaurant, houses the Standard and Classic rooms and the Double Room with Terrace, on the upper floors. The Corte degli Ulivi, built in 2015 in local tufa and stone 80 metres from the historic building, houses the Suites, all on the ground floor, around the swimming pool.

At Masseria Lama San Giorgio check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 10:30 am.

Yes, buffet breakfast is included and served from 7:15 to 9:45 am. It includes baked goods, cakes, local cured meats and cheeses, yogurt, cereals, juices, fruit and hot drinks, with gluten-free and lactose-free options.

Yes. Half board at Masseria Lama San Giorgio includes dinner at the Alle Bilance restaurant, with two courses of your choice from the à la carte menu, for €28 per adult and €14 per child per night, drinks excluded.

• Standard and Classic Double Rooms: up to 2 guests, double bed.
• Suite and Suite with Spa Bath: up to 2 guests, double bed.
• Double Room with Terrace, Deluxe Suite and Deluxe Suite with Spa Bath: up to 3 adults and 1 child.

All rooms and suites have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, individual heating, TV, fridge, kettle for tea and coffee, hairdryer and toiletries. Some have a spa bath, and the Double Room with Terrace has a private terrace.

Yes. The suites in the Corte degli Ulivi are all on the ground floor, with a private entrance onto the garden. The rooms in the Masseria Antica are on the upper floors and are reached by the original stone staircases.

Yes. The Deluxe Suites and the Double Room with Terrace sleep up to 3 adults and 1 child. The masseria has outdoor spaces, a swimming pool, the Ludopark San Giorgio with wooden play equipment and a small Apulian farm zoo with peacocks, pheasants and goats. The restaurant has a children's menu.

Yes. Couples can choose suites with a private spa bath or the Double Room with Terrace and, on request, a private candlelit dinner in a reserved dining room or on the room's terrace. See all experiences on the Activities page.

Reception is open from 8 am to 8 pm. Outside these hours we can always be reached on the phone numbers provided when you book.

Yes, dogs are welcome at Masseria Lama San Giorgio, both in the rooms and in the restaurant, as long as:

• you let us know when you book;
• they do not disturb other guests;
• they are well behaved.

A supplement of €10 per day may apply for extra cleaning.

The Alle Bilance restaurant serves traditional Apulian cuisine with modern touches. Vegetables and legumes come from our own farm or from trusted local producers, and every dish is dressed with our own extra virgin olive oil. The wine list offers a wide choice of Apulian wines. Meals are served in the historic Sala delle Bilance, under stone vaults, among a collection of antique scales.

• Dinner: Monday to Saturday, with seating from 7:30 to 9 pm.
• Lunch: Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, with seating from 1 to 2 pm.

On Sunday evenings dinner is reserved for guests staying at the masseria.

Yes, the restaurant prepares gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan and vegetarian menus. Please let us know about any allergies or intolerances when you book, so we can make sure your meal is safe.

Yes. At dinner there is a dedicated menu for children under 12 at €14. At weekend and holiday lunches, children up to 12 usually pay half price.

The swimming pool at Masseria Lama San Giorgio, in the Corte degli Ulivi, is open during the warm season, roughly from May to October, from 10 am to 6:30 pm, weather permitting. The pool is not heated.

Yes, Masseria Lama San Giorgio hosts corporate meetings, conventions, workshops and retreats in private meeting rooms, 25 minutes from Bari airport. We provide a projector, a 4K webcam for hybrid meetings, sound system and microphones, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and team-building activities such as an Apulian cooking class. Participants can stay in our 28 rooms and, for larger groups, at Palazzo Didonna in the centre of Rutigliano. The car park can also accommodate coaches. Find out more on our meetings page.

Yes, we host first communions, christenings, confirmations, graduation parties, anniversaries and birthdays, with tailor-made menus from the Alle Bilance restaurant. Weddings are also available on request.

Masseria Agrituristica Lama San Giorgio is at S.P. 84 Rutigliano–Adelfia km 8.700, 70018 Rutigliano (BA), in Puglia, Italy, in the countryside south-east of Bari. It is 19 km from Bari, about 20 minutes by car from Bari Centrale station, and 25 km from Bari airport, about 25 minutes by car.

From Bari station, local Ferrovie del Sud Est trains run to Rutigliano station. Full directions are on our Contacts page.

The masseria is a good base for visiting Bari, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, the Castellana Caves, Alberobello and the Itria Valley, Matera and Castel del Monte. Our Itineraries page suggests five routes.
